Dole Whip Wishes and Castle Dreams was started by two Disney Squad friends Carly and Kara. After years of traveling to Disney together, they decided it was time to spread the love and help others plan vacations to their favorite place, Disney World!
Carly is a nanny by day and writer by night. She fell in love with Disney World at the age of 18 when she went on her first trip. She has made it a point to go there as much as possible ever since. After having to be the adult all day, she loves to feel the Disney magic of being a kid again. Her favorite people to visit Disney World with are her niece and nephew, who are lucky enough to live in Orlando!
When not wrangling children, Carly likes to read, write, and bake gluten-free treats, often coming up with her own creations. She currently resides in Nashville, where she enjoys the mild winters after growing up outside of Chicago.
Carly’s hope with Dole Whip Wishes and Castle Dreams is to not only connect with other Disney lovers, but to help those who must also live a GF lifestyle have the best food experience possible while visiting the best place on earth!
Kara is a published author, substitute teacher and business leadership trainer and coach. When she’s not planning elaborate trips to Disney, she loves to read, write, and bake. She lived in Florida for four years and was an annual passholder to Disney.
Since then, she traveled back to her home state of Illinois to complete her Bachelor’s Degree and to attend law school. After graduation she moved to Arizona to escape the harsh Chicago winters. She now resides near Phoenix with her twin boys, their gigantic cat Boots and their two dogs, Chico and Mushu. But no matter where she’s lived, she’s made the pilgrimage to Disney at least once a year.
Kara’s hope with Dole Whip Wishes and Castle Dreams is to help people plan the most legendary Disney vacations. And to live the enchanting Disney lifestyle no matter if they’re home or at their home away from home, Disney.
