Holy moly, the Chocolate Lava Cake from California Grill is like a flavor explosion in your mouth! At the top of the Contemporary resort, after taking a special elevator, the doors open into an upscale, gourmet restaurant with killer views. The California Grill is perfect for a fancy dinner but you will need reservations to get a table.
And after dinner, you can also hang out for the Magic Kingdom fireworks. There are two rooftop sections that you can visit, but only on the night you have a dining reservation for, so be sure to get that Advanced Dining Reservation asap! You’ll also need to dress up a bit more than what you would wear to the park. They do have a bit of a dress code so business casual at the very least. But feel free to get as fancy as you please.
Along with the killer views, the food is exceptional! Everything we had was perfection.
