There are lots of opportunities to meet and eat with your favorite Disney Characters. If you are unfamiliar with Character Dining, then check out this LINK to read more about it.

But for those who already have knowledge of Character Dining, here we will discuss which ones we think are the Best of the Best!

Castle Kara Says:

I have two favorite Character Dining options. The first may seem obvious but it really is one of my family’s favorites, that’s right it’s Chef Mickey’s! We just love the atmosphere (in the lobby of the Contemporary Resort), the wide open space, the food is consistently awesome (all you can eat buffet), a real monorail that goes by overhead, and hello Mickey Waffles!

And of course, getting to spend some time with the fab five is always a good time, pictures, hugs, dancing, and so much more! You will definitely drop some bills to pay for the meal, but the memories we’ve made at this breakfast will be some of our favorites forever.

Our second favorite is the Garden Grill at Epcot. Here you meet Mickey, Pluto, Chip, and Dale. It’s not one of the more well known Character Dining Restaurants (like Chef Mickey’s, Cinderella’s Royal Table, Crystal Palace, or Be Our Guest) but it’s probably our favorite restaurant (okay, maybe tied with Coral Reef) for as far as the coolness factor goes. This isn’t your average restaurant, this one spins!

It’s nothing too fast, it rotates slowly so you get an ever changing view. But it’s such a crazy cool concept that we try to get there as often as possible. The food is great too, it’s served family style and it’s as much as you care to eat so come hungry! Mickey is dressed in farmer’s garb, and there’s just something about our interactions with Chip and Dale that are always so memorable, so even with the rather hefty price tag, we still count this as one of our favs. If you haven’t tried this one yet, we definitely recommend adding it to your Disney Bucket List.

Dole Whip Duey says:

While I love all Character Dining, because each one is it’s own experience, I’d have to say one of my favorites is O’hana, Breakfast with Stitch and friends.

Not only is the Polynesian Resort stunning, it’s great for being GF because they bring you a big bowl of your own GF breakfast items, including: scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes, and yes, GF Mickey waffles!

I’ve been twice, and we got to meet Lilo and Stitch, Hawaiian Mickey, and Pluto. The characters were great, and super fun! They even make a conga line with the kids (or anyone who wants to join) and go around the whole restaurant.

Plus, you can’t beat the beautiful view, especially if you get a window seat!
