Port Orleans – French Quarter

Port Orleans Resort has two sides, French Quarter and Riverside. It is a gorgeous resort and quickly became one of our favorites. But more well-known then its beauty, are the scrumptious Disney beignets they make. (Or ben-yays! as we like to call them, making it more of a exclamation of sheer joy, than merely the name of a food.)

Typically beignets are made in a rectangular shape, but because it’s Disney, we make them with a sprinkling of pixie dust. Which just means we make them Mickey shaped! Cause let’s be honest, everything tastes better when it’s Mickey shaped.

Follow this video and you too can be making these delicious pastries at home. Serve them warm and with tons of powdered sugar to make them taste just like the ones at the French Quarter! Disney beignets will become your newest obsession, like they have become ours.
